Synopsis
Behind Enemy Lines (2001) is a military action thriller directed by John Moore — watch it online on iFILM. Owen Wilson plays Lt. Chris Burnett, a Navy aviator who photographs the wrong thing during a Bosnia recon flight and gets shot down. Gene Hackman is Admiral Reigart, the commander fighting bureaucracy to bring him home.
On the ground, Burnett has one shot at survival: keep moving. A Serbian tracker played by Vladimir Mashkov closes in with each passing hour, and NATO command has frozen all rescue operations. Reigart ignores the order. What follows is a chase that cuts between the frozen Bosnian hills and a carrier deck on the verge of a diplomatic incident.
Director Moore shot largely on location and cut the film at a pace that rarely lets you breathe. The 106-minute runtime wastes nothing. Stream Behind Enemy Lines (2001) in full on iFILM.
