Sean Bean appears as Preston's former partner — dispatched by Preston himself in the opening minutes, a scene that sets the film's cold logic in motion.

Wimmer invented "Gun Kata" — a close-quarters shooting discipline choreographed around statistical crowd movement, filmed without CGI.
