Synopsis
Barbie in the Nutcracker (2001) is Barbie's very first feature-length animated film, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Directed by Owen Hurley, this 77-minute Canada-US family production retells the Tchaikovsky ballet with Barbie stepping into the role of Clara.
On Christmas night the Mouse King casts a shrinking spell on Clara, reducing her to the size of her beloved toy Nutcracker. The only way to break the curse is to find the Sugarplum Princess deep in a magical kingdom — and Clara and the Nutcracker set off together. Tim Curry gives the Mouse King a suitably menacing voice, while Kirby Morrow plays the Nutcracker.
