Synopsis

TV reporter Lori (Ally Sheedy) sneaks into a genetics company, exposes its animal experiments, and walks out with Max — the facility's prized creation. He is warm, loyal, great with kids. Meanwhile the scientist who built him, Dr. Menlo (Lance Henriksen), knows the drug suppressing Max's predator instincts has a very short shelf life. Trouble follows.
