The Puppet Masters

The Puppet Masters (1994) is a sci-fi horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Based on Robert A. Heinlein's 1951 novel of the same name, the film follows a government agency responding to a UFO report in small-town Iowa — only to find that the real problem isn't the spacecraft. Donald Sutherland leads the cast as the agency chief who realizes the town has already been compromised.

The invaders are flat, stingray-shaped slugs that attach to a host's back and rewrite everything above the neck. Infected people look normal. They speak normally. They just aren't alone anymore. Eric Thal plays agent Sam Givens, sent in with biologist Mary Sefton (Julie Warner) to contain what's already spreading faster than their reports can track. Keith David and Will Patton round out a team that can't trust its own members.
