Brain Dead

Brain Dead (1990) is an American sci-fi horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Neurosurgeon Rex Martin, played by Bill Pullman, agrees to perform an unsanctioned experimental procedure on a mathematician locked away in a private psychiatric facility.

The push comes from his associate Jim Reston — Bill Paxton — who wants a formula buried somewhere inside the patient's damaged mind. Martin sees it as a chance to probe paranoid delusions and mental illness from the inside out. What he doesn't expect is the collapse of his own sense of reality: the line between his mind and his patient's dissolves until it's impossible to say who is operating on whom.
