The Dukes of Hazzard

They get help from their knockout cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and moonshine-brewing Uncle Jesse, played by Willie Nelson. On their tail is bumbling Sheriff Roscoe, whose chases tend to end nose-down in a ditch.

This is a big-screen take on the beloved 1979–1985 TV series, played as loud summer goofery — country on the soundtrack, real stunt jumps, and Burt Reynolds chewing scenery as Hogg. Depth is nowhere in sight, and that is the point: you press play for engine roar and easy laughs. It is built for anyone who loves old-school car chases with zero seriousness attached.
