Synopsis

The Vatican dispatches Father Andrew Kiernan (Byrne) to investigate. What he finds doesn't fit any textbook case: Frankie isn't devout, has no reason to fake it, and the marks keep getting worse. Behind the scenes, a powerful cardinal played by Jonathan Pryce is less interested in Frankie's welfare than in what she might reveal — a message that could shake the institutional Church to its foundation. The cast also includes Nia Long, Rade Serbedzija, and Portia de Rossi.
