Synopsis
The Gift (2000) is a Southern Gothic thriller directed by Sam Raimi — watch it online on iFILM. Cate Blanchett plays Annie Wilson, a widowed mother of three who earns a living reading fortunes in a small Georgia town.
When a young woman from a wealthy local family goes missing, Annie's visions put her at the center of the investigation. The images come uninvited — fragmented, disturbing, hard to interpret. She didn't ask to see any of it. Among the suspects: a volatile, threatening husband played by Keanu Reeves, a troubled young mechanic by Giovanni Ribisi, and a charming local teacher played by Greg Kinnear. Hilary Swank and Katie Holmes round out a cast that keeps the tension unpredictable.
