Synopsis

Suddenly neither one wants to take the kids.
From there the whole thing flips. The two exes (Marina Foïs and Laurent Lafitte) declare open war for the right to lose custody, each scheming to look like the worse parent so the court hands all three children to the other. Sabotage, petty stunts and performative irresponsibility follow — parental love turned completely inside out. The kids, naturally, figure it out long before the grown-ups do.
The movie drew over two million admissions in France and was quickly remade in Hollywood. The humor is mean and fast, with no sentimental cushion, and both leads clearly relish playing selfishness right up to the edge.
