Synopsis
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) is the comedy sequel from New Line Cinema you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jay Roach reunited with writer-star Mike Myers, who this time plays three separate characters: Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, and the kilt-wearing Fat Bastard, a Scottish henchman sent to steal Austin's mojo.
Dr. Evil's plan is simple. He travels back to the 1960s, swipes the source of Austin's irresistible charm, and watches the superspy fall apart in the present day. Austin follows him through time, picking up American CIA agent Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham) along the way. Back at Evil's lair, a new addition joins the villain's roster — Mini-Me, a one-eighth-scale clone played by Verne Troyer, who became an instant fan favourite. Rob Lowe appears as the younger version of Number Two in the '60s sequences.
Made for $33 million and earning $312 million worldwide, the sequel outperformed the original by a wide margin and cemented the franchise as one of the decade's biggest comedy hits. Stream Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) online on iFILM.
