Synopsis

The Owens sisters grew up under a family curse: any man who falls for a woman of their bloodline is destined to die young. Sally chose the quiet life; Gillian ran off with the wrong guy. When that wrong guy turns up dead under suspicious circumstances, the two have to figure out what to do with the body — and with whatever dark thing hitched a ride back with him. Stockard Channing and Diane Wiest round out the cast as the eccentric aunts, while Aidan Quinn plays a detective who keeps showing up at the wrong moment.
