Hercules

Hercules (1997) is a Walt Disney animated musical you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Ron Clements and John Musker — the duo behind The Little Mermaid and Aladdin — pulled a Greek demigod out of mythology and dropped him into a 93-minute pop-culture blender: jazz-gospel muses, a wisecracking satyr trainer voiced by Danny DeVito, and James Woods playing Hades like the slickest agent in Hollywood.

Born the son of Zeus, Hercules grows up stripped of his immortality and desperate to earn his way back to Olympus. The catch: the gods want a hero, not just a strongman. Cynical Meg (Susan Egan) complicates things — she works for Hades under duress and can't quite figure out if Hercules is worth saving. Meanwhile, Hades has the Titans lined up for a coup that could topple every god on the mountain.
