Synopsis

The girls get sidetracked in a quiet Slovakian town, coaxed into a comfortable hostel by a local named Axelle. What awaits them is the same underground auction from the first film — where wealthy clients wire money to reserve the right to torture and kill a live target. Roth flips the camera this time, cutting between the women in the basement and the buyers back home — corporate men Stuart and Todd — as they outbid each other on a human being. The dual perspective turns a slasher premise into something colder.
