Teeth (2008) is a horror-comedy written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein — watch it online on iFILM. Made for two million dollars, the film works with surgical precision — part feminist slasher, part pitch-black satire of purity culture and male entitlement. Dawn's initial horror slowly gives way to something closer to empowerment as she figures out what she's carrying and what to do with it. No moralizing, no easy answers.
