Kingdom (킹덤, 2019) is a Korean historical thriller from Netflix you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Kim Seong-hun and Park In-je set the story in the Joseon dynasty: the king is dead, but court advisor Cho feeds that secret to no one — and feeds the king himself on palace servants.

Crown Prince Lee Chang, played by Ju Ji-hoon, flees the capital under treason charges and rides into a countryside already burning with plague. Villages fall overnight. The dead don't stay down. His small band — bodyguard, physician, a few reluctant allies — is all that stands between the throne and complete collapse. The series ran two seasons, six episodes each.

What separates Kingdom from standard zombie fare is its politics. The outbreak spreads fastest where famine already hit hardest, and the court's cover-up is deadlier than the plague itself.
