Synopsis

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) is Lucasfilm Animation's animated sci-fi adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Dave Filoni and released through Warner Bros. Pictures, the film features the voice cast of Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, and Christopher Lee reprising Count Dooku.

Set between Episodes II and III, the story sends Anakin and his brand-new Padawan Ahsoka on a race to recover Jabba the Hutt's kidnapped son. The stakes are political: if the Jedi succeed, the Republic gains access to Hutt-controlled hyperspace lanes; if they fail, the Separatists claim that leverage instead. Ahsoka is quick, sharp, and far less obedient than Anakin would like — the dynamic between the two carries most of the film's energy. This theatrical release also served as the launch point for the long-running animated series that followed.
