Meet the Spartans

Meet the Spartans (2008) is a Hollywood spoof comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer — the team behind Scary Movie spinoffs — set their sights on the 300 blockbuster. The result: a leather-clad Leonidas leading thirteen warriors instead of three hundred, backed by a running gag that the Persian army is basically a celebrity cameo showcase.

Sean Maguire plays Leonidas, charging into battle against Xerxes (Ken Davitian) and his bizarre ranks — Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers, and a hunchbacked Paris Hilton all show up uninvited. Carmen Electra plays Queen Margo with a straight face while the film fires pop culture references from 2007 at rapid pace. Kevin Sorbo and Diedrich Bader round out the cast.
