Changeling

Changeling (2008) is Clint Eastwood's crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Angelina Jolie plays Christine Collins, a single mother in late-1920s Los Angeles whose nine-year-old son vanishes one morning while she is at work.

Five months later, the LAPD reunites her with a boy and calls it a win. Christine says the child is not hers. The department's response: have her committed. Captain J.J. Jones (Jeffrey Donovan) signs the paperwork, and a women's ward at the county hospital becomes Christine's new address. The only person willing to challenge the cover-up is radio pastor Gustav Briegleb (John Malkovich), who has been broadcasting the department's corruption for years.

Screenwriter J. Michael Straczynski rebuilt the story from trial transcripts and coroner's records. Running alongside Christine's fight is a separate investigation led by Detective Lester Ybarra — one that leads to a ranch outside the city and the real reason the police were so desperate to close the case.
