Synopsis

His wife just died. His sons visit once a year and eye his belongings. When his Hmong neighbor Thao (Bee Vang) tries to steal Walt's prized 1972 Gran Torino as a gang initiation, Walt catches him in the act. Instead of calling the police, he puts the kid to work. Thao's sharp-tongued sister Sue (Ahney Her) refuses to let Walt keep his walls up. Slowly, three people who have nothing obvious in common start looking out for each other.
