Synopsis
Death Race (2008) is a sci-fi action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and released by Universal Pictures. Jason Statham plays Jensen Ames, a three-time racing champion who wakes up in prison for a murder he did not commit.
The prison is run by the Weyland Corporation, which has one idea for managing overcrowding: put the inmates in armoured cars fitted with machine guns and flamethrowers, wire the course with kill switches, and stream the whole thing to paying subscribers around the world. Win five races, go free. The warden, played by Joan Allen, controls who lives long enough to get there. Ames has one race on the books already. He needs four more.
