The Dressmaker

The Dressmaker (2015) is an Australian comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jocelyn Moorhouse adapted Rosalie Ham's novel into a story about Tilly, a Parisian-trained fashion designer played by Kate Winslet, who rides back into the tiny outback town she left as a child under a cloud of suspicion.

The accusation that followed her out was murder. Tilly doesn't remember what actually happened, and the town certainly isn't going to help her find out. She moves in to care for her mother Molly, played with feverish eccentricity by Judy Davis, and begins dressing the local women in clothes the town has never seen. Liam Hemsworth plays Teddy, who falls for Tilly with uncomplicated enthusiasm. Hugo Weaving turns up as a sergeant with his own complications.
