Synopsis

The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012) is a family fantasy drama you can watch online on iFILM. Cindy and Jim Green have given up on having a child. One stormy night they bury a box of their wishes in the garden, and by morning a boy named Timothy is standing in their kitchen, calling them Mom and Dad.

He has leaves growing from his ankles, and nobody knows where he came from. Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton play first-time parents thrown into the deep end, while CJ Adams gives Timothy a quiet, oddly wise charm. The kid changes everyone he meets: a gruff grandfather, a lonely classmate named Joni, even the struggling pencil factory where Jim works. But the leaves keep falling, one by one, and the Greens slowly realize their time together has a limit.

Director Peter Hedges, who wrote What's Eating Gilbert Grape, handles loss with a gentle hand instead of cheap tears. This is a film for a quiet evening with the family, sad in the right places and warm at the end. Stream The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012) online on iFILM.
