Directors Matt Peters and Christina Sotta brought together the widest DC roster in any animated film: Constantine, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, the Suicide Squad and the Teen Titans all show up — and most of them lose badly.

Earth is already half destroyed when the story begins. Darkseid, voiced by Tony Todd, crushed a Justice League assault on Apokolips before it even started, and the aftermath left surviving heroes scattered, broken, or rewired into the tyrant's soldiers. The only one still moving with any real intent is John Constantine, played by Matt Ryan — too detached to feel hope and exactly reckless enough to engineer one last desperate counterattack.

Closing out the DC animated universe that launched with Justice League: War in 2014, this film earned a fan rating of 8.2 and lands harder than most entries in the line — no tidy resolutions, no triumphant speeches, just wreckage and a long shot.
