Synopsis

Lou Clark is a directionless 26-year-old who loses her cafe job and ends up as companion to Will Traynor — a former banker, once adventurous and sharp, now wheelchair-bound after a motorbike accident. Will is sardonic and certain about his future. Lou knows nothing of his plans. She just keeps showing up with her mismatched tights and relentless warmth, chipping away at his certainty day by day. Charles Dance and Janet McTeer play Will's composed, aristocratic parents who hold secrets of their own.
