Unfriended

Unfriended (2014) is an American horror film shot entirely on a laptop screen — watch online on iFILM. Six high-school friends are mid-video-chat when a seventh account joins the call: the profile of Laura Barns, a classmate who died by suicide a year earlier after a humiliating video of her went viral.

Director Levan Gabriadze commits completely to the format. Everything plays out inside Skype windows, browser tabs and chat threads in real time. The figure going by Billy227 knows every secret in the group and starts peeling them back, one friend at a time. Closing the chat does nothing. Logging off does nothing. Shelley Hennig carries the film — her character unravels first and the performance makes it genuinely hard to watch.
