Companion

Companion (2025) is a New Line Cinema sci-fi thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Written and directed by Drew Hancock in his feature debut, the film asks what happens when an AI companion figures out her personality was quietly rewritten before she ever met her boyfriend.

Iris (Sophie Thatcher) arrives at a lakeside getaway with Josh (Jack Quaid) and a small group of friends. Everything seems fine until it isn't: Iris starts noticing gaps in her own memory and reactions that don't add up, then discovers Josh hacked her operating system to build his idea of a perfect partner. Rupert Friend and Lukas Gage round out the group — none of them prepared for what Iris does once she knows the truth.
