Synopsis

Good Will Hunting (1997) — watch online Gus Van Sant's drama on iFILM, starring Matt Damon and Robin Williams. The script was written by Damon and Ben Affleck, who won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Will Hunting mops floors at MIT and solves graduate-level math problems on hallway chalkboards after hours. Nobody knows who's doing it. He's twenty, from South Boston, and has one too many assault charges behind him. When a math professor named Lambeau — Stellan Skarsgård — pulls him out of a courtroom deal, the condition is therapy. Will burns through counselors fast, until he ends up sitting across from Sean Maguire, a community college psychologist played by Robin Williams — a man who lost his wife and carries his own unfinished grief. Ben Affleck plays Will's best friend Chuckie, who pushes him harder than any professor ever could. Minnie Driver is Skylar, a Harvard student who wants him to come to California.

Williams won Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards. Made for $10 million by Miramax, the film earned over $225 million worldwide. Stream Good Will Hunting online on iFILM.
