Black Widow

Black Widow (2021) is Marvel Studios' action-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Cate Shortland places the story between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, giving Natasha Romanoff her own chapter before the events that would cost her everything.

Scarlett Johansson's Natasha is a fugitive. A covert program called the Red Room — run by a man named Dreykov (Ray Winstone) — wants her erased. To fight back she has to track down the closest thing she ever had to a family: Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), a fellow Red Room operative; Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour), a Soviet super-soldier she knew as the Red Guardian; and biochemist Melina (Rachel Weisz). Olga Kurylenko plays the Taskmaster, an assassin who can replicate any fighting style on the fly.

The film was the first wide Marvel release after Endgame and launched Florence Pugh as a recurring presence across Disney+ series. It also handed Shortland one of the largest budgets ever given to a female director at that point. Stream Black Widow (2021) online on iFILM.
