The Jacket

Starks keeps waking up fifteen years ahead, in a future where he meets Jackie, a young woman played by Keira Knightley, who tells him he has only days to live.

Daniel Craig rounds out a strong cast in this claustrophobic, puzzle-box film that sits somewhere between Twelve Monkeys and a ghost story. Maybury, known for his art-house background, skips flashy effects and goes for dread instead — tight frames, disorienting cuts, a score that keeps you off-balance.
