Bad Santa

Bad Santa (2003) is a darkly funny crime comedy directed by Terry Zwigoff, available to watch online on iFILM. Billy Bob Thornton plays Willie — a foul-mouthed, hard-drinking safecracker who puts on a Santa suit once a year, gets hired at a shopping mall, and cleans out the safe on Christmas Eve. His partner in the scheme is a sharp-tongued little person played by Tony Cox.

This year the plan unravels fast. A suspicious store detective played by John Ritter is watching every move, and an oddball eight-year-old kid named Thurman latches onto Willie and refuses to let go — genuinely believing he's the real deal. Lauren Graham plays a bartender drawn to Willie for reasons nobody on screen quite understands. Bernie Mac adds heat as a mall security chief with his own agenda.
