Love

Love (2015) is an erotic drama by French director Gaspar Noé — watch it online on iFILM. Karl Glusman plays Murphy, an American adrift in Paris, trapped in a flat with a woman he settled for. Then a late-night phone call: Electra, the one he actually loved, has gone missing.

The film unfolds as raw memory. Murphy reconstructs two years with Electra (Aomi Muyock) and their neighbor Omi (Klara Kristin), whom they invited into their relationship. Shot in 3D by Benoît Debie — Noé's longtime cinematographer — with unsimulated sex scenes and a score that leans on ambient silence as much as music. The film screened in the Un Certain Regard sidebar at Cannes 2015.
