The Dirt

The Dirt (2019) is the Mötley Crüe biopic you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Jeff Tremaine, it follows four misfits who crawled out of the early-'80s Sunset Strip club scene and clawed their way to glam-metal superstardom.

The lineup gets its own spotlight: bassist Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth), singer Vince Neil, drummer Tommy Lee played by rapper Machine Gun Kelly, and guitarist Mick Mars (Iwan Rheon). Adapted from the band's tell-all book, the film leaves the ugly parts in. Overdoses, a jail stint, a fatal car crash with Neil behind the wheel, wrecked marriages. The fame filled arenas and nearly killed every one of them in turn.
