Dune

Dune (2021), Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi epic from Legendary Pictures, is available to watch online on iFILM. The 155-minute adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Stellan Skarsgård and Zendaya.

Paul Atreides travels to Arrakis — a desert planet that produces the most valuable substance in the known universe. Duke Leto accepts stewardship of the planet knowing it may be a trap set by House Harkonnen. Paul keeps dreaming of sand and a girl he has never met. Baron Harkonnen has already given the order.

Villeneuve filmed Herbert's first half at a deliberately slow, architectural pace — every frame built by cinematographer Greig Fraser, every note scored by Hans Zimmer.
