Synopsis
Miroirs No. 3 (2025) is a German drama by Christian Petzold you can watch online on iFILM. Paula Beer plays Laura, a piano student whose weekend trip ends in a crash that kills her boyfriend. She walks away physically unhurt. A local woman named Betty — Barbara Auer — witnesses the accident and takes her in.
Betty's household is quiet and attentive, and for a while that's exactly what Laura needs. Then small things start to snag: a look held too long, something said that doesn't quite add up, a warmth that feels performed. Petzold, whose earlier films Transit and Undine explored people caught between worlds, brings the same slow-burn unease here. The film runs 86 minutes and was produced by Schramm Film and ZDF/Arte.
