Renoir

Renoir (2025) is a Japanese drama directed by Chie Hayakawa — watch online on iFILM. Tokyo, 1987. Eleven-year-old Fuki is caught between two slow-burning crises: her father Keiji is dying, and her mother Utako is barely keeping it together between shifts and sleepless nights.

Wandering the city, Fuki keeps running into adults who are just as lost as she is. She can't understand why grown-ups are so broken — and that question sits at the quiet center of the film. Starring Yui Suzuki, Hikari Ishida, and Lily Franky. An international co-production between Japan, France, Singapore and the Philippines, backed by ARTE France Cinéma and Happinet Phantom Studios.
