Synopsis
Happy Death Day (2017) is a horror-comedy from Christopher Landon you can watch online on iFILM. College student Tree Gelbman wakes up on her birthday and ends the night murdered by a killer in a baby mask. Then she opens her eyes on the same morning, alive again.
Tree is stuck in a time loop. Every version of the day ends with her death, and the only way out is to figure out who's behind the mask before she runs out of lives to lose. The suspect list keeps growing: her roommate's boyfriend, the professor she's sleeping with, a sorority rival. With each reset, the self-absorbed Tree starts looking at the people around her, and at herself, a little differently.
Jessica Rothe carries the whole thing, replaying one bad day dozens of ways with comic timing and real panic.
