Synopsis
The Pout-Pout Fish (2026) is a family animated adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Director Ricard Cussó adapts Deborah Diesen's beloved children's book series — first published in 2008 — into a 92-minute underwater quest. Nick Offerman voices Mr. Fish, a perpetually grumpy hermit who has made a sunken shipwreck his private domain. Nina Oyama voices Pip, a hyperactive young sea dragon who mistakes that same wreck for a junkyard and starts hauling things away. Produced by MIMO Studios and Macmillan Films (US/Australia).
The argument that follows leaves both characters homeless. Their only option: team up and track down the mythical Shimmer — a creature said to grant wishes to anyone who finds it. Simple enough, except someone else is already on the trail. Miranda Otto voices the wise Marin, Amy Sedaris plays a trio of Pink Dolphins, and Jordin Sparks voices the Shimmer herself; Remy Hii rounds out the cast as Benji.
It's a film about two characters who genuinely cannot stand each other, forced to figure it out anyway. Watch The Pout-Pout Fish (2026) online on iFILM — a fun, colourful ride for kids and patient adults alike.
