Saccharine

Saccharine (2026) is an Australian horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Natalie Erika James — whose debut feature Relic earned her a reputation for slow-burn dread — follows medical student Hana, played by Midori Francis, into territory where diet culture tips into something genuinely monstrous.

Hana is desperate to change her body. She stumbles onto an underground ritual: consuming human ashes. The weight starts dropping. Then the dead start following. The ghost of whoever she's been eating shows up — hungry, close, and not going away. Her friends Josie (Danielle Macdonald) and Alanya (Madeleine Madden) sense something has shifted, but Hana is already too deep in to simply stop.
