Synopsis
The Family Stone (2005) is Thomas Bezucha's bittersweet Christmas comedy-drama, available to watch online on iFILM. A buttoned-up career woman travels home with her boyfriend to meet his loud, free-spirited family over the holidays and quickly realizes she doesn't fit their rhythm at all.

The harder Meredith tries, the worse it goes, so she calls in her sister Julie (Claire Danes) for backup, and the romantic alliances across both families start shuffling in unexpected directions.
Bezucha laces the farce with real grief, letting a holiday comedy turn quietly into a story about illness and acceptance without softening the blow.
