Synopsis

Little Shop of Horrors (1986) is a horror-comedy musical you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Frank Oz. Rick Moranis plays Seymour, a put-upon florist's assistant on Skid Row who discovers a strange plant and names it Audrey II after the co-worker he can't stop thinking about. The plant grows fast. It also sings. And it is hungry for something the local garden shop does not sell.

Ellen Greene reprised her role from the original 1982 off-Broadway production, and Levi Stubbs of the Four Tops gave Audrey II its booming, demanding voice. Steve Martin shows up as a sadistic dentist, Bill Murray wanders in for one unforgettable scene, and John Candy has a cameo. The film traces back further still — to Roger Corman's low-budget 1960 original, which the stage show reinterpreted before Oz brought everything back to the screen.

The production received two Golden Globe nominations and remains one of the sharpest genre mash-ups of the decade. Stream Little Shop of Horrors (1986) in full on iFILM — a 94-minute plant that refuses to stop growing.
