The Magnificent Century (Muhteşem Yüzyıl, 2011) — watch online Turkey's landmark historical drama about the court of Suleiman the Magnificent. Four seasons, 139 episodes, Show TV, produced by Tims Productions. Halit Ergenç plays the sultan; Meryem Uzerli is Hürrem, the woman who rewrites the rules of the harem.

A Ruthenian girl arrives in Istanbul as a slave and within years becomes Suleiman's only legal wife — the first concubine in centuries to hold that title. The palace around her is anything but safe: Grand Vizier Pargalı Ibrahim (Okan Yalabık) runs the empire while walking a blade's edge of royal favour, Mahidevran Sultan (Nur Fettahoğlu) fights for her son's claim to the throne, and Suleiman himself must decide who rules the East — the soldier or the man in love. Each episode runs 90 minutes and moves fast.
