Synopsis

Green Street Hooligans (2005) is Lexi Alexander's crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Journalism student Matt Buckner takes the fall for someone else and gets expelled from Harvard, so he flees to London to lie low at his sister's place.

There his brother-in-law hands him off to younger sibling Pete, and through Pete, Matt stumbles into the world of football firms. The Green Street Elite live and die for West Ham United, settling scores not in the stands but in bare-knuckle brawls down back alleys. The quiet, bookish American suddenly finds brotherhood, adrenaline, and one iron rule: you never run. Elijah Wood plays Matt against type — Frodo learning to throw a punch — while Charlie Hunnam's Pete sets the film's reckless pace.

Alexander, a former karate champion, shoots the fights raw and unglamorous, yet viewers still argue whether the movie glorifies hooligan culture or warns against it. It quickly built a cult following on both sides of the Atlantic. Stream Green Street Hooligans (2005) online on iFILM.
