It Chapter Two

It Chapter Two (2019) is the horror-thriller conclusion to Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's novel — watch it online on iFILM. New Line Cinema's follow-up picks up twenty-seven years after the Losers' Club drove Pennywise underground. The six survivors are adults now, scattered across the country, most of them half-convinced they imagined the whole thing.

One phone call from Derry ends that. Jessica Chastain plays the grown Beverly Marsh; James McAvoy is Bill Denbrough, still carrying the guilt of a story he wrote but couldn't finish; Bill Hader brings an edge of real pain to Richie Tozier's comedy routine. Bill Skarsgård returns as Pennywise — the clown who has waited out centuries beneath the town's streets and has had twenty-seven years to get hungry again. The film runs 169 minutes and weaves in flashback sequences featuring the original child cast, so the two halves of King's novel finally sit alongside each other.
