Synopsis
The Breadwinner (2026) is a family comedy from TriStar Pictures and Wonder Project — watch it online on iFILM. Director Eric Appel cast stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze opposite Mandy Moore, with Colin Jost, Kumail Nanjiani, and Will Forte filling out the supporting bench.
Nate Wilcox has been the provider his whole adult life. His wife Katie ran the house, managed the kids, handled everything he didn't have to think about. Then Katie pitches on Shark Tank, lands the deal of a lifetime, and leaves for an extended business trip. Nate is suddenly a stay-at-home dad to three daughters — Gracie, Hadley, and Sam — each with a very specific set of opinions about how he is doing. The tagline says "One dad. Three kids. Zero clue." He proves all three parts correct within the first twenty minutes.
