Synopsis
The Moment (2026) is a music comedy thriller from A24 — watch online on iFILM. Director Aidan Zamiri built a semi-fictional film around Charli xcx, who plays herself in the months after brat turned from an album into a full-blown cultural event. The tagline says it plainly: "none of it happened but maybe some of it did."
With arena dates locked in, the label hires documentary filmmaker Johannes — played by Alexander Skarsgård — to capture the first show. He immediately starts pushing his own vision into the process. Brand commitments stack up, rehearsals grind, and what began as momentum starts feeling like a siege. Rachel Sennott, Rosanna Arquette, Julia Fox, Kylie Jenner, Shygirl, and producer A.G. Cook all appear, most of them as versions of themselves. Atlantic Records co-produced alongside A24 and Studio365.
