Bachelorette

Bachelorette (2012), Leslye Headland's pitch-black comedy, is ready to watch online on iFILM. Three high-school friends turn up as bridesmaids for the classmate they once mocked, and during one cocaine-fueled night they manage to rip her wedding dress to shreds.

Regan (Kirsten Dunst) runs the show like a drill sergeant, Gena (Lizzy Caplan) is drowning in her own baggage, and Katie (Isla Fisher) never knows when to stop. With the ceremony hours away, the trio tears across nighttime New York to fix the gown, hitting strip clubs, strangers' bedrooms, and 24-hour pharmacies along the way. Rebel Wilson plays bride Becky; James Marsden and Adam Scott handle the male half of the wreckage. The film is meaner and sadder than its setup lets on, with jokes about overdoses and breakdowns barely covering an anxious conversation about turning thirty with nothing to show for it.
