Synopsis

People are vanishing across Seattle. The culprit is Victoria — played by Bryce Dallas Howard — a vengeful vampire who has spent months building an army of newborns with a single target in mind: Bella Swan. To stop her, the Cullen coven and Jacob's wolf pack have to fight side by side, despite centuries of bad blood between them. Meanwhile Bella is stuck between two offers she can't easily refuse — Edward's eternity and Jacob's warm, human-scale life. Dakota Fanning shows up as Jane of the Volturi, watchful and quietly lethal.
Slade came to this film after directing 30 Days of Night, and it shows: the action sequences hit harder than in earlier entries, and the pre-battle training scenes carry real physical weight.
