Synopsis
Ice Skater (2026) is a Finnish-Greek survival thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Taavi Vartia's 83-minute film drops figure skater Emily onto a drifting ice floe in the Arctic Ocean — no rescue in sight, just a sleeping bag, a dying phone signal, and water on all sides.
The floe is heading south, which means it's melting. Thea Sofie Loch Næss plays Emily as someone who calculates rather than panics: every shift of the ice, every call dropped mid-sentence. The one voice she reaches on the other end is Harry (Nikos Koukas), too far away to do anything useful. He stays on the line anyway. A polar bear cub wanders into the picture and changes what survival looks like.
