I Swear

I Swear (2025) — watch online on iFILM — is a British-Irish drama directed by Kirk Jones, based on the true story of John Davidson MBE. Robert Aramayo leads the cast alongside Maxine Peake, Peter Mullan, and Shirley Henderson.

Scotland, 1983. Fifteen-year-old John has one thing on his mind: football. Then his body starts doing things he can't control — blinking, twitching, shouting, clicking. Classmates pile on. Doctors land the diagnosis: Tourette Syndrome. A local filmmaker turns John's condition into a documentary, and the attention that follows cuts both ways. Fame arrives. So does the fracture in his relationship with his mother, right where he needed her most.
